Curing Compound

- This item is covered under the KDOT Materials List as PQL-30.
| **Note that all curing compound within the City shall be Type 2 White pigmented. Type 1 with or without dye is not approved for use within the City. In addition, Portland Cement Concrete Pavement (PCCP) shall use Type 2 Class B (resin based) curing compound per OP Construction Specification Section 502. Type 2 Class A or B is approved for use on concrete flatwork per OP Construction Specification Section 401. - 5/12/17 |
Expansion Joint Material

| **Note: Expansion joint material listed is required only in the construction of Portland Cement Concrete Pavement (PCCP). For concrete curb construction, expansion joints "shall consist of one-half inch premoulded bituminous, non-extruding and resilient expansion joint material" per Section 825 of the City's Construction Specifications. For concrete sidewalk, expansion joints "shall be formed with one-half inch prefabricated non-extruding filler" per Section 824. - 7/27/17 |
